Part of the series Culmination, an exploration of the familiarity and fragility of the natural world, explored through still life paintings that juxtapose flora grown by the artist with exotic fauna that would never encounter each other in the wild without intervention by man. Limelight was the winner of the Foundation Award from John Tyler Community College, a competitive juried show for students across art disciplines.
